Eine neue Einrichtung war das Buchcafe als Treffpunkt für das interessierte Publikum einschließlich Verleger, Künstler, Literaturvermittler, Kulturpolitiker. Kontakte und Diskussionen stellten sich in der offenen Form eines Cafe-treffs sehr gut ein.
